Hydramet promotes safety awareness throughout its operations using all available avenues. A concerted effort is being constantly made to encourage, instruct, train and request personnel at all levels to work safely and recognise all standard work practices that must be strictly adhered to.
Avenues and forums used to enhance safety awareness are:
- Initial and in-house on-going induction training
- Daily contact sessions with Department Managers
- Management Safety Meetings / Toolbox Meetings
- Safety Bulletin issued monthly to every staff member
- Notice Board Information
- Work Instructions / Job Safety Analysis
- Client Workplace Inductions (where applicable)
All employees and sub-contractors are made fully aware of the standards expected of them as Hydramet's policies are continually reinforced.
