HYDRAMET ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Hydramet Pty Ltd is committed to environmental care. It is the company's objective to encourage staff with training and provide equipment to clients that will not adversely impact upon the environment.
Hydramet also provides a safe working environment to protect the health and safety of all employees, contractors and clients.
In order to achieve these goals - and to maintain the delicate balance of nature - Hydramet's management policies and systems are among the most environmentally sensitive in Australia and include:
- Contractors and suppliers with whom the company does business are made aware of our commitment to the environment and are encouraged to apply similar standards.
- Considering the environmental implications of all investment decisions.
- Complying with all environmental regulatory requirements. Where no legislation exists, Hydramet has established its own best practice Environmental Standards.
- Identifying, documenting and prioritising the principal environmental risks associated with equipment and site locations.
- Established procedures for investigating and reporting safety and environment incidents and ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken to prevent similar incidents.
- Recognising and communicating to all company employees that safety and environment is the responsibility of all employees of Hydramet with all employees trained in environmental policies and systems.
- Fostering a culture of environmental care amongst all employees and clients. As a result, additional environmental projects including participation in recycling of office and installation waste is encouraged.
