Residual Sulfite Monitor Brochure
Residual Sulfite Monitor Drawing |
Dechlorination of wastewater has become common in many parts of the world. In addition, water supplied to many types of RO membranes must be chlorine free.
Sulfite is commonly used as the dechlorination agent, and measuring the residual sulfite after complete chlorine removal can save large amounts of chemicals. The A15/66 residual sulfite monitor by ATI provides a unique gas phase measurement method to meet this measurement need. It continuously measures sulfite concentration to ensure the complete dechlorination of water. Range: 0-2 or 0-20 PPM Sensor: Membraned SO2 gas sensor Application: Protection of RO membrances and compliance with zero residual chlorine discharge requirements |
- Direct Sulfite measurement: sulfite ion is measured selectively by conversion to sulfur dioxide
- Alphanumeric LCD: provides SO3 display, alrm status and all configuration information
- Two control relays: programmable for setpoint, dead-band and time delay. Relays offer pulse frequency and pulse width modulation control modes in addition to simple on/off control
- Isolated output: programmable 4-20mA output span
- Automatic cleaning: monitor provides system for controlling the auto cleaning of sample inlet line
- Gas phase sensing: measurement is made without contact between sample and sensor
